2018年6月5日，山东省政府发布《山东省民用机场布局规划》，其中规划青岛市即墨、平度、青岛公务机、莱西、崂山、胶州洋河、青岛西海岸7个通用机场。即墨、平度、青岛公务机、莱西通用机场规划2018至2022年建设，崂山通用机场规划2023至2025年建设，胶州洋河、青岛西海岸规划2026至2035年建设。
